Proceedings of the 15th International Middleware Conference

Bordeaux, France, December, ISBN 978-1-4503-2785-5, ACM, 2014 (334p.)

Abstract
This volume contains the proceedings of the International Middleware Conference, held in Bordeaux, France, on December 8-12, 2014. This year marked the fifteenth edition of this annual conference, which first started in 1998 and since then has evolved into the premier event focusing on important middleware results. Middleware technologies offer design principles, programming models, frameworks, protocols, and runtime services to support the development and execution of distributed systems. Building such systems remains an ongoing challenge due to their broad scope, increased scale, and complexity. For its 15th edition, the ACM/IFIP/USENIX Conference continues to provide an invaluable forum for both researchers and practitioners to discuss the design, implementation, deployment, and evaluation of distributed system platforms and architectures.
